Indonesia

During a study abroad in Australia, I took a trip with one of my friends to Indonesia, where we found a local who was willing to rent out his car to us (then deciding he wanted to tag along see his country as well!). With about a week before our plane ticket back home, we started in the northwest corner of Java in the city of Jakarta with the mission of making it to the other end of the massive island to climb a volcano. We drove day and night, stopping at beautiful villages, densely populated cities, and Buddhist and Hindu temples.
